DISABILITY & ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

DISABILITY & ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
60 minute class
From 4 years
Welcome to our most flexible, feel-good Class of the week!
Our Disability & Additional Support Class is all about giving every child the chance to enjoy gymnastics and trampolining in a way that works for them — at their pace, in their style, with their grown-up right there cheering them on (or helping them balance... both are great!).
Whether your child thrives on structure or loves to roam free, prefers a quiet start or jumps in with two feet — this class is designed to work with them, not against them.
What to Expect
- A chilled-out, low-pressure environment with just 16 Members max across the whole gym.
- A dedicated Trampoline Coach, always on the trampoline area, always ready to help.
- A friendly Gymnastics Coach who rotates around the gym to offer tips, support and encouragement if you want it.
- A big on-screen timer that shows where the Coach is and where they’re heading next — perfect if your child likes a bit of structure (or you want to plan snack breaks).
- Full freedom to explore the gym at your own pace — stay at the beam, bounce on the trampolines, or come hang out with the Coach when it suits.
- Optional low-level coaching and progress tracking (which you can view in your AAAsports account).
No drills. No strict routines. Just space, support, and a gym full of possibilities.

A Few House Rules (so everyone has a great time)
We want this class to be safe, calm, and full of smiles — so here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Bare feet or vaulting shoes only
Socks (even grippy ones) are a no-go — they’re slippery and unsafe on our equipment. Bare feet are perfect, but if your child prefers, vaulting shoes with grippy soles are a great alternative and available in our shop. - No jewellery in the gym — for anyone
That includes parents, Members, and Coaches (unless they’re not coaching). Earrings, watches, bracelets, necklaces — all need to come off before entering the gym. It’s a requirement from British Gymnastics, our insurance, and AAAsports too. If it jingles, sparkles or could get caught — it’s got to go! - Stay close and keep watch
This class isn’t drop-off. You’ll stay with your child the whole time, helping them explore, offering support, and — if they’re on the trampoline — acting as a spotter beside them. - Running late? No problem, but...
If you arrive after 14:10, just wait at the main door and let us know you’re here. We’ll let you in and sign you in ourselves — please don’t use the iPad, that’s staff-only. - Be kind to our Team
We love what we do and we’re here to help — so let’s keep things friendly and respectful. If something’s not working, come have a chat with us. We’re all on the same team. - Tell us what helps your child
Got tips? Tricks? “If you ask them to do it like this, they’ll actually do it”? Brilliant — we want to know! Update your child’s AAAsports account or speak to a member of staff. The more we know, the more we can tailor things to suit. - Health comes first
If your child has a medical condition that might be affected by activity (e.g. history of retinal detachment or similar), please speak to us before signing up. We may need a doctor’s note or further information to make sure everything’s safe.
Good to Know
- This class includes both gymnastics and trampoline (a two-in-one deal most other classes don’t get!).
- While other sessions can have up to 60 Members sharing gym space, this class is capped at just 16 for a calmer, more supported vibe.
- Occasionally, courses run during this time. That means there might be other adults (like course attendees) in the gym. If trampolines aren’t available because of this, we’ll cancel the class. If just one area is affected, the class will continue — and we’ll give notice where we can.
Still not sure if this class is right for you?
No problem! Drop us a message or speak to our Member Services Team. We’re more than happy to talk through what the class looks like and how we can help support your child.
We’d love to welcome you in — and we’ll bring the high fives.
