Ever thought about becoming a coach but don’t have the qualifications yet? Our AAAsports Coach Education Programme is the perfect opportunity to start your coaching journey with full support, hands-on experience, and best of all, we cover the cost of your qualifications!
Why Join Our Coach Education Programme?
We Pay for Your Qualifications: No need to worry about the financial side – AAAsports will pay for all your coaching qualifications. You’ll learn alongside our experienced team, gaining invaluable knowledge while working towards becoming a fully qualified coach.
Learn in a Real Coaching Environment: From day one, you’ll be working within our classes, mentored by our expert coaches. You’ll learn the ropes, get hands-on experience, and feel fully supported every step of the way. Our team is here to help you become the best coach you can be.
Flexible Commitment: While you’re learning, we ask for just 1 hour per week, which is unpaid while you’re being mentored. Once you’re fully qualified and have passed our internal process, you’ll be able to work with us for a minimum of 1 hour per week (paid) for at least a year. We also offer zero-hours, part-time, and full-time positions, giving you full flexibility to fit coaching around your schedule.
Ideal for Parents and Busy Individuals: Many of our classes take place after school and on weekends, making this programme a great fit for parents or anyone with a busy family life. If you have children who are already AAAsports members, this could be a fantastic way to get involved, learn a new skill, and contribute to their sporting community! And if you're simply passionate about coaching, it's open to everyone over 16 who’s dedicated to learning and growing.
All Ages Welcome: Whether you’re fresh out of school or a parent looking for a new challenge, this programme is designed for everyone. We often find that parents can bring a unique perspective and level of patience to coaching, so don’t hesitate to apply! Age isn’t a barrier – enthusiasm and commitment are what we’re looking for.
Your Path to Becoming a Coach
Step 1: Start by shadowing our experienced coaches for a minimum of 1 hour per week (unpaid) while you learn.
Step 2: Complete your coaching qualifications, fully paid for by AAAsports, and gain practical experience.
Step 3: Once qualified, work with us for a minimum of 1 hour per week (paid) for at least a year, with flexible hours to suit your life.
