Stay in your normal class
Members attend their usual class at their usual time. When TURBO Week arrives, that class changes format for the week.

TURBO turns progress into something Members can see, collect and celebrate. Every Award adds another colour to the journey.
TURBO is AAAsports' progressive Awards programme for Gymnastics, Trampoline and Cheerleading. It is not another class to book. It sits inside the normal participation programme, giving Members regular Award moments while their everyday coaching and development continues across the rest of the cycle.
Members attend their usual class at their usual time. When TURBO Week arrives, that class changes format for the week.
The normal participation programme runs as usual, then around every eight weeks the class becomes a dedicated TURBO Week class.
During TURBO Week, each Member is assessed on one Award level only. The focus is on their next colour, not racing through several Awards at once.
After TURBO Week, the normal class structure returns and Members continue with their usual coaching, Skills Tracking and development.
TURBO gives the normal programme a regular change of pace without taking Members away from their wider development. They keep learning throughout the cycle, then TURBO Week gives them a dedicated moment to work towards the next colour in their collection.
TURBO Week changes the focus of the normal class. Each Member is assessed on one Award level only, so the aim is clear and the session stays focused on their next step rather than trying to race through the programme.
There is no separate TURBO booking. Members arrive at the class they are already enrolled in.
The Member is assessed against one TURBO Award level for that week, based on where they are in their Award journey.
Coaches work through the Award requirements during the class and assess whether the Member meets the standard for that Award.
If the Award standard is met, that colour is achieved. If not, the Member simply keeps developing and can work towards it again at a future TURBO Week.
Achieved Awards are recorded and the Member receives confirmation so the new colour can be added to their collection.
The Member receives an achievement email and a TURBO slip during class. The medal and personalised certificate can then be purchased together as one Award.
If the Award is not achieved this time, the Member returns to normal coaching after TURBO Week, keeps developing, and can work towards that Award again in a future cycle.
TURBO uses the same colour-led idea across Gymnastics, Trampoline and Cheerleading, but the pathway length reflects the sport. Gymnastics and Trampoline continue through Award 15, while Cheerleading follows the same colours through Award 8.
For Gymnastics Members, the numbered collection continues all the way through Award 15, with Foundation Awards used where an earlier starting point is appropriate.
Foundation where appropriate + 1 to 15Trampoline follows the same full numbered colour collection through Award 15, creating another long-term progression Members can build over time.
Foundation where appropriate + 1 to 15Cheerleading uses the same numbered Award colours as the other pathways, but its current TURBO collection finishes at Award 8.
Awards 1 to 8Bronze, Silver and Gold provide an earlier starting point for some Members before the numbered collection begins. They were originally introduced for Members who would benefit from smaller early steps, and are now also used with some Members in lower Fundamentals classes so they can start collecting sooner and build confidence before progress naturally becomes slower.
Every numbered Award has its own fixed colour. The colour is part of the identity of that Award across the TURBO scheme, so the collection becomes instantly recognisable as it grows.
When a Member meets the standard for their TURBO Award, we make sure they know about it straight away. They receive confirmation of the achievement and can then purchase the matching medal and certificate together as one Award.
The Award is recorded and the Member receives an email confirming which TURBO colour they have achieved.
The Member also receives a TURBO achievement slip during class so the result is clear before they leave.
The Award can be purchased at reception during TURBO Week, or ordered online through the AAAsports app or online account.
The matching TURBO medal and certificate come together as one Award, ready to become the next colour in the Member's collection.
If an Award is purchased in person at reception during TURBO Week, we can print the certificate and give the medal and certificate out there and then.
Awards can also be ordered through the AAAsports app or online account. Orders placed after TURBO Week are prepared in batches once enough orders have been received.
TURBO Camp is our free catch-up assessment session for Members who could not attend their normal class during TURBO Week, or for Members in SQUAD who need a separate opportunity to complete their TURBO assessment.
TURBO Camp gives eligible Members another opportunity to be assessed on the same Award level they would have completed in their normal TURBO Week class. It is designed as a simple catch-all for Members who genuinely could not make their usual session.
Eligible Members can attend TURBO Camp without paying an extra session fee.
The session lasts up to an hour and is focused on completing the relevant TURBO assessment.
It is there for Members who were away, unavailable or otherwise unable to attend their normal TURBO class.
SQUAD Members can use TURBO Camp where they need a separate opportunity to complete their TURBO assessment.
TURBO Camp is not an extra second attempt after attending a normal TURBO Week class. If a Member has already been assessed in their usual class, they should not also attend TURBO Camp for the same TURBO cycle.

TURBO is part of the AAAsports participation experience for Gymnastics, Trampoline and Cheerleading, turning progress into something Members can see, collect and celebrate.
