Congratulations to our Coach Education Programme members who passed their L1 Gymnastics Coach qualification this weekend!  After several months of mentoring with our existing AAAsports Coaches, Jess, Karen, Lois, Nicola, Rachael and Sophie all demonstrated their coaching abilities in front of an independent British Gymnastics assessor.

All the candidates will now undergo one final assessment with existing AAAsports Coaches before joining our regular coaching team.  Well done once again to all the candidates!

Due to a Special Event being held at the centre, all AAAsports Classes at the Lakeside Centre and Cramlington LV are cancelled on Sunday 21st May 2017.  All AAAsports Classes at other venues will run as normal on this date.

Just one month to go until the closing date for the 2017 AAAsports Championships & Presentation Ceremony!  Always the highlight of the year, we invite every AAAsports Member to come along and take part in our fun, friendly event at AAAsports Sunderland, before going on the stage at the Rainton Meadows Arena to collect their medal and certificate!

AAAsports are celebrating as 4 members of the Coach Education Programme took their Level 1 Trampoline Coach Assessments today, with all 4 members passing with flying colours!  Jess, Lois, Nicola and Sophie all demonstrated the delivery methods and coaching techniques that our experienced AAAsports Coaches have been teaching them over the last few months in order to demonstrate their abilities to become a AAAsports Coach.

In addition, Katie H also passed her Pre-School Gymnastics coaching qualification, meaning she now holds qualifications in 4 different gymnastics disciplines!  A huge well done to all of our newly qualified Coaches, and their mentors who have helped them to achieve their qualifications!
