North Grades Results

As the competition season starts to heat up, it was back to the Gymnastics Squads this weekend as they travelled to Redcar to compete in the North Grades Gymnastics event!

For many of our Members, this was the first time competing in this event - for some it was their first ever competition!  Competing across Bar, Beam, Floor and Vault against very strong competition, the girls were both aiming to achieve a Top 6 finish and to gain achievement levels in the event!

Despite some simple mistakes and lots of pre-competition nerves, our Squad Members produced some excellent results, including Emma placing 5th, Ruby placing 3rd and the U12s team placing 2nd!  In addition, every Squad Member achieved a 'Pass' in their chosen levels, with Grace, Emma and Ruby all achieving a distinction in the chosen level!
