The results from our End of Year Questionnaire are in, with the largest number of responses we've ever received! Thank you to all of our Members who completed the Questionnaire - your feedback helps us to further improve AAAsports classes for everyone.
Overall, we received another excellent set of results with a staggering 96.45% saying you would recommend us to a friend, and an overall satisfaction rating of over 4.5 out of 5!
We're really pleased with these results, but we're not stopping there. Keep reading to find out some further feedback and planned improvements for 2018/19!
For the second year running, you've told us that progression in our classes in incredibly important to you. This year we launched a number of different levels in our classes, which has helped to offer more progression opportunities to our Members. We're happy to see that Members believe they made more progress under this programme, and now we're looking to demonstrate that to every Member!
We have been working hard on a brand new progression monitoring system that will give Members the opportunity to track their progress from home through their myAAA account! We're in the final stages of testing and hope that this system will be ready to launch later this year!
In addition, we have taken on board feedback regarding our Award Assessment weeks - these will continue to run 6 times per year and will also be trackable through the new monitoring system, helping us to reduce errors and improve progression.
Members have told us that communication with AAAsports is continuing to improve, however Members sometimes find it difficult to get in touch with us. On further investigation, we found that many Members are trying to contact us when our office is closed or that Members have not opted-in to receive our emails.
As a reminder, our office is staffed from 10am to 5pm every weekday and can be contacted on 03335 776787, with a voicemail system available outside of these times. Members can also send us an email or leave a message through our website - we aim to respond to all messages within 1 working day. To opt-in to emails, please log in to your myAAA account - this is vital for class amendments, cancellations and other information as we do not provide paper handouts.
Members are always welcome to speak to the Greeter at their class who will be happy to provide assistance wherever they can, while at Squad level we will be introducing an Induction Meeting for Squad parents, with two more meetings planned for later in the year.
Consistency & Supervision
Our Members have highlighted that there have been a number of changes to our Coaching Team throughout the 2017/18 season. Unfortunately this is unavoidable in many cases, due to a small number of Coaches who have moved on this year, but also due to holidays, competitions and special events taking place through the year. Several Members also moved groups this year, which again resulted in a change of Coach for these Members.
As a rule, we prefer to maintain consistency in our Coaching Team to the greatest extent possible, and we will continue to do so throughout the 2018/19 season. In certain circumstances, such as Coaches holidays, training courses and competition attendance for example, change is unavoidable and we appreciate your understanding when these changes occur.
Finally, we would like to remind our Members that we have a Coach to Member ratio a lot lower than other providers! At AAAsports we have maximum ratio of:
* 8 Members to 1 Coach in Gymnastics, DMT and Pre-School Gymnastics, using 1 piece of apparatus at a time
* 10 Members to 1 Coach in Trampoline and Pre-School Trampoline, split across 2 trampolines
In between coached stations in these disciplines, all Members are provided with progressive self-guided side station activities designed to keep Members active throughout their time in our classes - please encourage all Members to join in with these activities!
Our Members have told us that they're really happy with the prices we charge for our Classes and Membership Fees, and we're happy to announce that we are freezing these prices for the 2018/19 season! In addition, we have set up a brand new pricing structure for our AAA Days which has proven very popular with our Members!
Members also said they liked the consistency of our monthly pricing based on classes spread across the year rather than per class attended each month. In order to keep this simple pricing structure in place, we are unable to offer holidays or refunds for cancelled classes, however we are reassured that Members appreciate the additional free classes that they receive each month!
AAAsports Championships & Presentation Ceremony
Our Members, family and friends absolutely loved the AAAsports Championships & Presentation Ceremony, celebrating it as their highlight of the year! You've told us that the food quality at the Presentation Ceremony was poor, however were generally happy with the price of the event. Unfortunately we are not able to improve the standard of the food without significantly increasing the price of the event, but we will be working with the venue to try and find an alternative offer for the 2019 event.
